I think that's how most of TW feels judgeing by the reactions. It's a new breed of buyers now.. millenials and non truck guys more into fancy and flashy bells and whistles versus proven, reliable, practical and value.

Interesting i didn't think being a truck guy required spending years in front of a keyboard on a car forum but I'll keep that in mind. You keep laughing.

You questioned whether someone could be a truck guy because they are a new TW user. Wtf does that even mean. You keep saying hyperbolic but doesn't seem like you understand that word.

Read my post again. I said a new breed of buyers who care about fancy and modern bells and whistles are not truck guys. That's not trolling. Pretty sure most people here would agree with that.

    Ok bye.

True it’s a bond over all the crazy. Just saw a swinger couple for STI and update on her depression meds yesterday in clinic. Guess I’m old, bitching about sanctity of marriage and the new Tacoma fancy tech. Lol

Passed on this today. Does look better in person. Was already $1k off MSRP.

Latest update on the 2024 TRD Sport w/278hp & 8spd tran.
Got my first real mpg numbers.
    Number of miles driven.. 281.7
    Gallons of gas.. 13.93
    Average mpg.. 20.22
Gas tank is supposed to hold 18.2 gallons--13.93 gals to fill up tells me there should have been roughly 4¼ gallons still in the tank before fillup. 4.25 x 20.22 = 86 miles of average driving until empty. Yet the gauge only showed 44 miles remaining and the average mpg gauge was always showing around 15.5 to 17mpg.
Maybe they built in a safety margin?
Yeah, I know, seems like counting hairs but I figured I'd throw out all the numbers in the likelihood someone sees an error in my math.

Common Toyota and in fact all manufacturers do it too. My 22 will say 20 miles to empty and it only take 17-18 gallons.

It’s a little hard to see right now, we have a few upgrades ongoing, there’s a bit more…you almost see the Tacoma.

What cab/bed length do you have? My dad is looking for some measurements to see if his camper will fit.

You can unwatch 4th gen anytime and stick to 3rd gen if you'd like. There's enough BS already starting and you aren't helping.
