Why would I replace the LCAs? Those are practically new; I was talking about the UCAs and ball joints...

I'd replace whatever is worn out, ball joints can wear out fairly quick if given the right conditions. Even though your LCAs may be new when you did the frame, the ball joints could have taken a bad hit. Wheel bearings/ball joints don't last long up here in the northeast with all the salt and potholes :(

So I might not need to replace the UCAs?

I mean, if a competent shop diagnoses your alignment issues, they SHOULD be honest and let you know what/if needs replacing that caused the misalignment. You won't know until you or someone puts your hands on them and checks for play.

So, the LCAs are practically new as per the frame replacement; I have no idea if the ball joints were replacements. The UCAs are original to the truck, and I'm assuming the ball joints are too...

dealer replacement LCAs came with new ball joints i'm sure of that. But I would still check to make sure a boot isn't torn and they aren't worn, you drive alot of roads for scrap and door dash where there are potholes. 1 bad hit is all it takes to do some damage that significantly shortens the life. UCAs are cheap, I can give you an OEM set of mine if they are the same for the 5 and 6 lug, I have ones with 10k miles on them sitting here collecting dust.

Unfortunately, I do not believe they are the same. Is a boot the same thing as a "bellow"? My mechanic replaced them not too long ago, and they looked good the last time I checked...

I had tires wear inside faster on the front of my Camaro and it just needed tires/alignment. Not sure how long it was like that as it was there when I got the car. Definitely get a good once over examination on the front but it's not out of the question that it's just that.

And IMO should be maybe grounds for Toyota to help out if not eat the bill for new ones. Those are I think 2.5 yrs old and definitely OEM lowers.

I'd expect them to find camber an issue, its likely sagging a big from age as well, the alignment should fix it.

Those coopers are really soft and sensitive to alignments.

Again, just need to start with inspection, alignment and go from there.

So I might just be able to get an alignment and have the new tires put on? Also, they no longer make Cooper Discoverer AT/3s; I ended up buying Yokohama Geolandars...
