Not that I have heard. My friends 2016 has 150k on it and I haven't heard anything.

I get that you don't have manufacturing experience, but there is a difference between struggling to get parts to build and building a quality product. In fact both of those things are mutual exclusive. Complexity opens up more opportunities for things to fail, but ultimately time will tell if that plays out in reality. Airplanes are incredibly complex and yet are are pretty damn reliable. Well, as long as it isn't a Boeing.

 

Probably not. I don’t see myself ever penning something newer than 2005 in the near future.

Airplanes pretty much have to be reliable lol. The Boeing failures are more due to bean counters trying to eke out more shareholder value as I understand it.

 

I needa find some control arms to rebuild, plugs and wires, should probably drain and fill all fluids, put the locking axle in, list goes on

It's when you complain about those vehicles (as if you own one) that people pounce on you

The 2016 Mustang 5.0 was reliable AF and it's been to New Mexico, Texas, Utah, Oregon, Nevada, Washington, and more.

The 2010 Corvette was just as reliable, and I did not baby that thing one bit. Granted I only put about 65k miles on it, I owned it since New just like the Mustang and it never once had an issue.

Had a ton of other vehicles but those two were new when I bought them and post 2005.

 

Yea that seems to be the model with most of the issues. The 787 Dreamliner is a masterpiece.
