The MAF reading looks normal for hot idle, with those fuel trims and a normal MAF reading I'd really suspect low fuel pressure. Should be checking fuel pressure as a next step, could also pull the fuel filter and see if it's plugged.

Not sure why you started replacing coils and injectors without checking fuel pressure.

What kind of coils and injectors did you use? If they were Amazon/ebay specials they are most likely junk.

Injectors were refurbished oe and coils are Chinese.

I figured I might aswell replace these parts as of their age, I really thought it was going to be injectors, especially after coming across this thread:
    https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/injector-psa-v6-3-4l-5vz-fe-1st-gens.730548/

put fuel pressure aside cause the issue seemed to be heat related..

Also don’t have a fuel pressure gauge, and I’d have to tap a tee fitting somewhere along the fuel line ?

The coils are likely the cause of your P1300 code, I'd put the originals back on.

It's possible but I see so few injector failures and see so many issues with cheap replacement injectors that I always question people that want to replace all of them for a driveability problem.
When I have seen them fail it's typically just one and it causes a single cylinder misfire.
Only one time did I see every injector bad on a vehicle and it was on a truck that someone swapped a used engine into, apparently the engine had been sitting so long that all the injectors were stuck.

Yes you would have to tee into the line somewhere to check pressure as there's no service port, I'm not sure where a good place would be on a 1st gen.
We really need to verify fuel pressure is good before firing any more parts at it and potentially building in more problems though.

Found time to drop the tank the other day, and replace the fuel pump.

all is good now… guess the pump was slowly dying out, weird how in is the beginning I was able to drive for at least 20 mins before there was an issue, then it wouldn’t run again till I let it cooldown.

Can’t complain with the parts I threw at it, the thing has 650k km on it!

anyway, thank you all for the help and pointers!
