I'm sure it'll be a significant upgrade/addition to the Taco.

Very true that it is a land yacht, but in a good way.

 

Looks great! I have an upcoming job installing that peel & stick "tile". I've made my case for every alternative, but that's what she wants.

 

Years ago I had an F250, it wouldn’t bat an eye 500# in the bed, actually it rode better.

 

Tundra is going to flinch at that much weight, but it'll do it. It's huge compared to a Taco, but it's till not a heavy duty truck like the 250/2500 or 350/3500 trucks. Definitely a light duty pickup.

 

I had a GMC 1/2 ton, it hated me, it ate front brakes.

 

My 3rd gen didn't exactly like this load.



Had to space out the shifts way more...

 

I kinda miss my F250. 1987,inline six, 4speed manual, regular cab, am/fm cassette, 18mpg uphill or down.

 

I've also freighted the Taco several times. I figure the Tundra will handle it much easier.
