Totalled out at 10.9 miles. She wasnt happy but she didnt quit. Her first trip with her new Osprey Atmos AG 50 and her biggest mile total.

 

Nice work! Zero percent chance I could get my woman to go tent camping lol. We're going to hike Rainbow Falls tomorrow and even that's pushing it for her hiking tolerance.

I've got a couple Osprey packs and can attest that they make some really high quality gear.

 

It is a very nice pack and we spared no expense making sure she had a pack that did everything it could to keep her comfortable on trail. As nice at is ... i still prefer my Flash 55, it just caries so damn nice.

 

The 3+ days pack I use is the same external framed Kelty model I've used since I was about 10 years old. Some things just work well.

 

If aint broke, dont fix it.

contemplating a trip to beach camp outter banks this fall. If I planned something, would anybody be interested in going?

 

I’ve been wanting to do this for a bit with the family. Maybe we could put something together

I was thinking Ocracoke. Just looking at options.

 

Maybe one night September 6th, 7th, or 8th? Looks like $28 a night on Ocracoke. I’m sure you have to buy a permit for beach driving too.
