    You weren't alone! I initially relied on the "INSTRUCTIONS" as well, but later broke the PM code. :rolleyes:

    Tried to phone-in my order today, per those same instructions. I learned Wheeler's telephone availability is limited to Monday thru Thursday. So it looks like we can't place orders until next week, unless I missed other coded messages imbedded in the big type and colors... :confused:

    Most group buys work like this...the organizer, DTRD, will email the list of committed members to the vendor, Wheelers, and then post a deadline here. You have to call and complete your order before that deadline. The orders will be held (no charges on your credit card) until that date also, to make sure that at least 10 people place the orders...once the deadline has passed the orders will be processed with the appropriate discount.

    Thanks, Lisa. I thought I understood the process. DTRD, however, implied I'm welcome to JOIN the GB when (AFAIK) I'm ALREADY IN (having joined on 28 Mar).

    DTRD and I traded PMs back around 29-30 Mar, but I never saw a forum response to my request to join, like many (all?) others got. I assumed that was no big deal until, he posted a response to me yesterday that began "If you want in..." THAT is what confused me. The main point I was trying to make yesterday was that Wheelers appears unavailable to take our phoned-in orders until next week. (I've tried to reach them by phone for the past two days, but have been unsuccessful.)

    I certainly apologize if my noobness is clouding an otherwise straightforward process. :eek:
