What Have You Done To Your 3rd Gen Today?

That first one isn’t ours. Looks like it has had a few mods/repairs….. noticed the wheels and front bumper.

There are a disproportionate number of black access cabs in our area….local dealer must fancy them.

 

80mil (2mm). I used 20 sqft.

 

Installed weather tech window visors.

 

Finally getting some nice weather and took advantage of it to clean it up a bit. Looks great dirty but I love way it catches the sun when it's clean.

That's a beautiful truck man. Never liked red for a truck color but that SO is pretty bad ass.

it wasn't really all that muddy out, but regardless I try to clean mud off the underside before it gets caked on there and dries. Just my inner detailer striking me lol

Cool same one I ordered, and got the roller.

I did order front 6x9s and the rear kickers. But heard alot of ppl saying back ones aren't worth it because they don't get enough juice without an amp. Thoughts?

I found this true as well. I ended up upgrading my HU to a Sony xav-ax6000. It sounds really good IMO. The EQ and time alignment really makes a big difference. I might add an amp down the road, but for now I'm good with this setup.

that center piece is a beta version that I am testing for Tinkerer Design Studio, its basically a valcroed bottom that can be removed by pressing on one corner and pry the opposite corner up away from the valcroed base. It does look much nicer than it's current offering pictured below.

 

Yesterday, I paid $75 to fill the gas tank.
I continue to be impressed with the mileage I get from mine.
