I've got a six fuse block I'm wanting to mount under the hood for accessories but not seeing many options other than on top of the existing fuse box. Any suggestions or ideas appreciated.

Depending on the space under your hood, I put together a full modular system. This is right when it was installed you can add and remove pretty much at will. This particular setup is switched with the ignition so it is only powered with the ignition on.

What did you use to mount that on the fuse cover? Is it easily removable? Near the battery is my preference but I'd rather not permanently cover the fuse diagram.

Bolted directly to the cover. I believe there's a diagram on the inside cover as well.. Hardly ever get in there. It's a Toyota! :muscleflexing:

Could go the Bussmann RTMR route.

I detailed my build here - check out the entire thread, lots of ideas there.

It was just a piece of steel I cut, polished, and bended into shape. I want to say it was like 32 gauge thickness?

Paranoid Fab makes plates that fit just aft of the battery

If you have a manual trans the Paranoid bracket won’t fit. Here was my solution (won’t work for earlier than ‘01 I think as the charcoal canister is in that spot):
