Improving here in MT, at least we’re finally seeing snow. Pack is pretty touchy but there are lines to be had!

 

Finally getting filled in here in Idaho. Wife and I took some morning laps after dropping the kid off at daycare.

Looks cool, some other pics previously posted on this thread (looking down some real fun stuff) also in the area? I’m from the SW so I frequent White Pass or resorts on hood, been to Stevens a few times but never around snoqualmie

Things in California are about to get really, really interesting.

 

That’s pretty crazy. We have had hardly any snow in New England this year. This is from Cranmore with Mt Washington in the distance from last week.

 

The California Epic pass mountains have been really bad about opening on storm days this year. Hell today Heavenly had half the mountain closed for 30 mph winds when it wasn't even snowing yet. Meanwhile up in Wyoming they'll open when its so whiteout you can barely see your own board under you. Its pretty frustrating. Guess I need to hurry up and get rich so I can do backcountry heli ski trips for my powder days

 

I'm not sure if any of you guys buy Ikon, but their prices for next year just dropped. This hobby is so fun, but it is getting pricier and pricier. I wish I got a 10% COLA like Ikon does every year!

Agreed. Even the college young adult discounts are super expensive for only having one ikon resort close to Tahoe. Epic went up too. Tahoe local (northstar, heavenly, kirkwood) 7x a week college pass is 540. Just absurd.

Making me consider a pass at Mt.Rose in reno. Smaller local mountain, still expensive as shit but I’d rather give them my money than EPIC or IKON


I’d rather go ikon to go to palisades but this price is hard to argue

 

Considering that day passes at most resorts are closing in on $200 that's a heck of deal that'll pay for its self after like 3 days. I agree though, this hobby is getting too dang expensive.

Edit: Alyeska doesn't suck, AK is worth the hype for sure.
