    Hey there TW! I am looking for some new shocks for my Tacoma. Recently I took a new job and it requires me to drive a lot more than I used to. I am looking to change out my shocks for some more road worthy shocks. I have just the Bilstein 4900s that came on the truck and I just need something that is not quite as stiff, something with a little more "give" in it, but not too giving to the point that I will bottom out driving over a curb haha. Any ideas, I know you guys are the best.

    Yea, I know the Bilstein's are fantastic, I've been looking at the 5100s, but I just think I need something slightly softer, anyone know anything about Monroe shocks?

    You have a trd sport and the shocks are specificly made for street. If you want a smooth ride try the regular sr5 shocks or if you have the extra coin shoot for some kings. I hear the ride like a caddy

    My tires are already road tires, they have plenty of life in them still.

    Personally I think the 4900's work well but you could try this route and go with the stock SR5 struts (Tokiko I believe??). They're definitely softer than what you've got and you could probably find a set on here pretty cheap.
