Yeah....nice little "Welcome to GA" present. I hate that tax.

We traded one vehicle to avoid it, as we knew we needed a bigger one for a growing family. We paid the tax on my truck and haven't really looked back. It sucked, but sounds like you would lose more value than worth. Just take the kick in the tights, pay it, and get it registered here.

Yeah I went today and found out it's only 3% and not 7% since I'm still the same owner apparently. Went ahead and got emissions done today, so guess I'll be up there tomorrow forking over the funds. Thought since I'm going this route I might as well get a custom plate too. Any ideas? I got "S2K BOI" on my Honda S2000, so I was thinking "TACOMAN" on the Tacoma?

Anything notable to report on these UCA after some miles?

There so little feedback on the Polys, but from a suspension design perspective, the UCA doesn’t seem to be much more than a placeholder. The price some companies charge for them seems kinda bonkers.

I’m still debating my suspension install. Some of my feelings are influenced by the fact I’ll have to spend more $$ on new UCA, and very likely more to address the rear leafs.

They seem to be fine so far. I agree they just seem to help keep the knuckle in line as long at the bushings and ball joints last they are good to go. I don't get the big difference in prices of them. I feel a lot of it is "I have this race brand part." Speaking of leaf packs this is the cheapest I've seen the icon rtx in months.

    Agreed.

Yea I saw your post in the RXT thread. The price I’m seeing direct from Icon still seems to the best at the moment, $635 for leafs and ubolts (supposedly free shipping, but price is pre-tax if applicable).

Anyone know of a good shop in/around atlanta that is familiar with and able to install archive garage hammer hangers on my 3rd gen access cab? Thanks in advance.

x2 on @marinemonkey does great work and depending on location should be close by. That’s who I’d recommend

I saw a sr5 4wd at Ralph Hayes in Anderson for basically 48k. So a trd for 47 is a deal in comparison

Noticed this in my last new vehicle shopping experience. Toyota dealers in Alabama and South Carolina were much more sensible than their Georgia counterparts.

Georgia's bureaucracy will milk every last cent out of any asset you thought was yours. I live 15 miles over the line from TN, and I think I know why my wife had to find a TN husband.

I just saw a ‘24 SR5 on FB in SC for $49,900. Insane. A full-size makes much more sense at that price
