    NY would be worse of a drive I think than down to TX! No problem though, just thought I'd check. Maybe come spring or so if you still have it (I'll try to keep an eye here), I can think about a trip down that way or something if the itch is still strong.

    Just a quick post…. I recently was in an accident that damaged my front end (mostly superficial, but involved the front/front passenger and crumpled the right front corner of the hood. Since the choice was mine on repair/replace, I used all parts from local dealer and decided to go scoop hood. I’m a little iffy on it and letting it grow on me. I’d suggest spending a little time in a sport if it’s been a bit. I forgot how different the view is between the two. Outside it doesn’t appear as different as inside does. I guess five years of flat has affected my perception.

    Yup, I’d be suspect at “$600 shipped”. Nobody wants to ship a hood, not even Toyota dealers. It’s not cheap either. In person or it’s never happening…
