Well got the Yanmar cleaned up today before the storms rolled in & got the ad made for FB.
Now just need to get it a new home!

Also played around on the Cat 302 for a few minutes & cleaned on it some.

    Damn!

Awfully quiet in here. Having a hard time believing no one hasn't obtained something new for the home maintenance.

No one has had had to fix anything?

    I'm shocked...and very bored.

1 week and I'm back on the clock

Oh there is a lot going on. Just hadn't had time to post about it.

Gonna go see a guy tomorrow about another bucket for the Cat 302.7, its got a 24" on it & he has a 12" that he cant use. It's an actual Cat bucket & he said I could have it for $350. If the pins are right size? Gonna grab it.

Sooooooooo: anybody got a quick hitch/pin grabber for a Cat they wanna sell?

All my equipment remains dormant still. Battery for the rider is still on the tender in the garage. Ain't gonna be too long though.

Did try and run that Home Depot special tiller a month ago and it wouldn't start without a sniff of ether. So looks like I gotta take the carb off and clean it. To think I stored it with ethanol free gas too :annoyed:

My buddy ask me today if I’d get his Stihl MS880 running and sell it for 25%, um yeah. That’s an expensive, huge saw

Do the JD tractors have the skid steer style quick attach or a JD proprietary quick attach? I don't see the levers on the top.

The Kubota ad specifically states the skid steer style although I believe the only Kubota choices are skid steer style or pin on buckets.

Looks like the Kubota and the more costly JD have a side step. Thanks.. I hadn't noticed that before. I'm old... prolly need that step :anonymous:

The JD looks different. I still know very little about these things, so all these comments help . . .

JD has their own style QA bucket unfortunately. Not the standard skid steer type

im in the market for a rotary tiller for my B2601. Currently researching brands and style. Looking at a land pride 50” reverse gear drive tiller, tell me if I’m on the right track or any recommendations folks might have. These tillers ain’t cheap  Also checked woods and an Italian brand which seemed out of my price range for my use

The first two look to be identical, be cautious that they aren't scams. A word of caution on the JD tractors is they use a proprietary JD attachment system for the bucket. Verses Kubota, Kioti, and pretty much everyone else uses the Skid steer QD attachment for there bucket. You either have to buy all JD implements (and JD is very proud of their stuff) or spend the extra money to convert it to a skid steer system. Of course this is only important if you think you might want to use other front end implements.

The seller comes highly recommended. All 3 of those machines are from the same seller. He deals in used equipment from all manufacturers.

The skid steer style lets you buy any brand attachments - new or used.
JD will take proprietary attachments only.

So much to cover in here real quick!

An 880 is a HOSS!!! Big heavy saw.

JD has a proprietary quick release. Not compatible with anybody else's stuff.
    I stay orange. Kubota/Kioti.

Step on side of any midsize or fullsize is a must!

Oh & the Yanmar excavator is already sold & gone! (Forgot to mention that in earlier post)

brought home a prebuilt shed from orange box store. got 50% off but had to move 3.5 miles as is. 8x12. my rad neighbor hooked up his new 22' hydrolic tilt flatbed to his chevy and brought the deere. he and his dad helped for 4 hours. transport, offload, and placing. they refused more than 200$ im so lucky. tractor was really helpful pulling it to the traliler edge before decent. then helping slide it 10' sideways on skids to the foundation.
