Planted a 4x 12’ bed of corn today. I don’t really know what else my wife is up to other than wanting to spend $600 on plants so we can tear down 80’ of fence in three years…

Planted the raspberry plants today. They were starting to bud leaves so had to get them in the ground. And was going to rain so another reason to get it done

I just got another Blackberry bush, gonna let it slowly get acclimated to the climate by setting it outside for a few hours a day before putting it in the ground.

My peppers are ripening up, 4th batch this year, not nearly as many as the previous ones though.

I dry them out, I have a small mason jar that is half full, I was going to grind them up to a pepper powder for BBQ sauces, then it bloomed again so I am waiting on this last harvest before I grind them up.

All the peppers are from the one plant. Getting 4 or 5 more this spring of the same pepper. They are the tobasco peppers, they're pretty damn hot, but I like hot food so.

Ahh Tabasco peppers are different, those will be good. The little ornamentals are ridiculously hot. I’ve never tried ghost pepper but if I had to imagine they are not far off

Aren’t you supposed to wait to plant until it warms up?

I built a 4x4 raised bed for some strawberry plants, still have to put chicken wire on the bottom and clear out a space for it.

Last year was so weird, apple trees bloomed way early and froze blossoms off. This year they seem to be on track...might actually get some apples? I dunno. Some stuff isnt even budding yet so we will see what happens!

Hopefully you get some apples this year!!! I tried planting some apple trees a few years back but didn't realize my big trees are eastern red cedar trees. Thankfully the apple trees never took as there is a weird rust disease that passes back and forth between them.
