100%. I can’t remember if I posted about it here or in a different thread, but a while back my mom’s HOA threatened to sue her and everyone else in her neighborhood if they didn’t power wash the exterior of their homes.

I thought she was exaggerating until I went to visit her and she showed me the letter they sent her…Bunch of clowns.

It's all about aesthetics in our HOA...which is $200 a year for us.

We've had our HOR District 34 Rep at our Annual HOA meetings...said he was impressed with our HOA...we are very engaged in our housing development.

Annual fees pay for all the gardening and snow removal plus any other necessary obligations.

Last count we had about 189 units...which is a good chunk of change for the HOA Board to manage.

Our home came with a back deck that was approved when our house was built in 1999.

It also included a shed which doesn't match vinyl siding on our house but the new rules apply (that it matches) if a shed is desired.

There's still new houses being built. I'm so glad we were able to get a home in this area back in 2006.

I don’t want to go to CA… though it would be the first time at NTC… I’ve been to plenty of other crappy places in the US though… here looking at you Mesa, AZ, Ft Polk, LA and Killeen TX including the desolate field places there…

Any shops in Maryland that specializes in Toyotas? I've got a T100 with some valve clatter and I'm thinking I need my valve clearances checked and/maybe adjusted. 3.4 5VZ-FE engine

 

NTC = Northeast Toyota Crawlers
These guys have been hosting an event at Rausch Creek for the last 20+ years, involves a good sized raffle, and open to TW. Mostly tube buggys from Massachussets, but there have been some stock frame Tacos every year, as well as some jeeps, that make the trek down to PA.
The Mammoth trail has been added to AOAA, and I believe that they want to attempt it.
Several Maryland TW members have been attending the event, and I am alerting them as the thread is not obvious.
There have been anywhere from five to forty TW stock frame Tacos at these annual events.

 

I was at Bragg, Hood and Savannah when not deployed or otherwise at a field exercise.

I feel like they'd be more partial to sky exercises

Morning MD…

Have our plumber coming out today to move the hot water heater. Before the basement was finished, it was placed in the middle of the foundation closest to all the faucets… need it moved to the back of basement where the well feeds in and the rest of the water system is. Usually I wouldn’t care but we are re-carpeting the basement so my son can move his bedroom down there. If it starts to leak one day, I don’t want it in the middle of all the carpet. I’d move it myself, but the pipes need to be rerouted and I don’t mess with pipes… if I f-up and it blows apart I’m screwed… if the plumber does I’m insured. Plus the system needs to be serviced anyway.
