Tacoma truck picture. My daughter's truck most have seen it before. She purchased a house about 25 miles closer to work and we were hauling her new washer and dryer down to the new place. She hasn't moved in yet because she wants some update/remodeling done to kitchen and bathroom.

We all have that one weakness...

This one is mine, I don't buy it often because the bottle drains like it has a hole in the bottom.

    Re: music and services….
We have SXM on my truck and that’s it.

Last time they said I had to pay something ridiculous like $349 or maybe higher to renew, I called to cancel. I got the typical hard sell and let me get my supervisor… I was adamant I wasn’t gonna pay anywhere near that. They came up woth a special offer for $89 w streaming included for 12 months. (About $7.50 a month) That seemed reasonable so I went for it. I’ll cancel before I pay anything higher.

I use SXM for news and the NFL channel. For music in my truck, I use a playlist on my phone to listen to who I want to. Yes, we’re old school and still buy songs and albums occasionally. There’s a limited number of stations up here and some are in French Canadian.

They only problem is I use itunes to manage my playlist on my iphone using a Windows computer. It’s the most buggy set up ever. I have all our music on a network drive but iTunes doesn’t retain the address. Most times I have to relink the albums individually and that ain't fun.

At home I use the same folder to manage some Sonos components and that does work flawlessly. Sonos has the added feature of Tune-In that gets radio stations from all over the globe including our favorites from the Boston area. One is independently owned and has minimal commercials. WXRV. Nice mix of new and old stuff.

Cant argue with that logic. With that said, can I cancel my subscription to the sun when I work night shifts? It's, like, really bright during the times I'm trying to sleep so I'd like to cancel during those times. Thaaanks.

Oh yeah, for sure. I have 2 different blackout curtains on my windows and still sleep with one of those eye masks. Works wonders. I'm just glad I'm not currently on a night shift schedule currently.

I worked nights for years, the biggest sleep improvers I had was moving way out in the country on a dead end road.

Putting R-Board over the window and an air conditioner helped too.

Whatever you do to cope, working nights is still tough on the body.

I worked nights too, 10 years...the biggest improver I had for sleeping was going to day shift.

My month just keeps getting better. Wife had me run down to the CVS for one thing and I get sideswiped on the way in her car. Not my fault at all. Wife's mad cause I drove hers.

I can't wait to figure out how to get estimates with a rabid 2 year old and a 9 month pregnant wife...

So everyone else has had luck with that threatening to cancel XM to get a lower rate. Well I have tried a couple times and have had no luck and actually had it cancelled once o_O
