I have had a day. I am only writing this because @six5crèéd and I talked a bit about opening up.
My father in law passed about 730p last night. The sil and wife and my wife were messes. I had to handle all the paramedics, police, coroner, DNR certificates, hospice nurse, coroner and funeral home. Got home at 1am. Went to work.
Sil flipped on a light, smelled smoke, called me and then fire dept. We got there at about the same time. Burnt wire in fixture.
Went to see my granddaughter at her 1st ever soccer practice and meeting my daughter, her husband and his sister.
We had just parked and heard a wham! And his sister was smashed into turning into soccer field. She is alright. Totalled her RAV4.
    What a 24 hour period.
    There Shane, I opened up!

Boys, the past 24 hours tested me to my core, as I was the leading man in all three challenges. In addition, I was also in an ISO audit at work all morning so I count that as an additional challenge.
I do not wish a day like today on an enemy.
I am now in my shop. I am drinking a beer, eating a few pork rinds and sharpening an already razor sharp chisel. Trying to prepare for tomorrow. Thanks for the kind words gentlemen. I truly appreciate it.

You’ve got this! Take on tomorrow, and the next day, and the day after that.

I had some friends send me pork rinds. Comfort food right there!!

Looks drivable. The insurance adjuster can come to your house. Can the rental be delivered? Then it’s just dropping off the wreck at the body shop. YOU CAN DO IT!

So sorry for your loss and condolences to the rest of the family. Good to hear your daughter’s SIL is ok but it sucks her vehicle was totaled. Hope the person in the other car is ok as well and had insurance :notsure:

Good Morning everyone, I hope you have an uneventful Wednesday :hattip:

    Good morning all.
@hiPSI hope you get some time off after that rough 24 hrs. Sounds like a challenge for anyone.
My work duty for today has been changed up. They're taking myself and two others out of the mechanical maintenance shop to help another team FIN, swap out a fire protection pump. I think they chose me for alignment of the pump to driver....twin turbo, supercharged Detroit Diesel. The effort required to turn the Diesel makes it tricky.
I better get, time for morning beat down
