These are hard to find. I have been looking for a long bed with low miles. Haven’t bought a canopy in a while, I can’t believe how much they are for these trucks

In July of 2022, I went to the Dark Side and purchased a Jeep Gladiator Overland. After about 20 month of driving it I found out I really don't care for it. I decided it was time for a new Tacoma, in looking, I don't really care for the look of the 2024's, and all you can get is a 4 Cylinder. I decided to start looking for a slightly used 22, or 23. I have had 2 Tacomas in the past a Gen 2, and a Gen 3 which I traded in for the Jeep. Boy was that a big mistake! Here is the 2022 Tacoma, it had 5,690 miles when I purchased it. I search 200 mile are trying to find a 23 or 22 with a long bed. I didn't want Grey, White or Red. When I went to look at the Blue Crushed Taco, I was sold. I checked the Car Fax no issues, It was purchased in Hendersonville, N.Carolina on 10/28/2022, and the lady that purchased it drove it to Richardson Texas to trade it in on 02/17/2024. The one way trip accounts from Hendersonville to Richardson, accounts for right at 1,000 of the miles. This one does not seem to suffer from the shift pattern problem & lack of acceleration my last one I had. I must admit the Toyota is a much more comfortable Ride & it doesn't have the front in drifting problem the Jeep had.

This thread is elite. So happy I stumbled upon it. So much great inspo for the build. Here's a few pictures of my 2016 DCLB TRD Sport 4x4. I'm running Bilstein 6112s on the highest clip setting up front, 5100s and Ironman 4x4 medium duty leaf pack in the rear, 33" BFG K02s, 5.29 Nitro gears, and ARB front & rear air lockers, amongst other minor or more apparent modifications. Check out the build thread for more info if interested!

Ok guys Im new here so just know Im a rookie. I tried to find this info on my own but wasn't able to. I just got a 2020 TRD off road full cab with the long bed, just like all of yours. Im going to do new suspension and new wheels and tires. I wanna get the biggest tire with the smallest lift without any rubbing (I know, kind of a catch 22). I know you can fit 285/75R17s with a 2.5 lift but it rubs a tiny bit in the front when you go through a dip or its flexed while in turn. So I was considering doing a 285/70R17 instead. can anybody shed a little light on this situation? has anyone gone with the 285/70's over the 285/75's??

If you really want the largest diameter tire with the least lift and no trimming then anything in 285 is distracting you.

Lift doesn't equal tire clesrence if you want to turn or cycle the suspension.
Other aspects come into play. Alignment, wheel offset and how much your willing to cut will determine what fits and how.
If you want the easiest route skinnies are the way to go. 33 on stock virtually to no cutting.

Those are the SX package wheels and I believe you can also get them on the SR or SR5 as like an appearance package and the tires are 265 75 16 Kenda Klever RTs.
