Hey guys - just checking in. Work/home is pretty busy. Trying to settle in. Going through what I hope are typical remorse feelings....(omg, THIRTY years? Dang - so.much.work! I dunno..needs much more than I thought it did) but starting to come out of that as the house gets set-up. I see probably 5 stinkbugs per week; need to find a solution for those - hopefully the warmer weather outside keeps them outside.

 

There is no answer for stink bugs or wasps… at least in my experience… stupid wasps. I’ve got a long pole (giggity) with really strong duct tape inversely wrapped to grab them when out of reach then I just spray em with soapy water to kill them.

Hope the feeling changes and the buyers remorse fades. Just imagine someone on post would have been a huge pain in the ass and now you have privacy, peace and quiet!

 

And I can't even use like 'permimeter defense' stuff for the bugs because the house is so old, there are gaps everywhere. Your Long Pole Seems Great - thatswhatshesaid

And the remorse comes mostly from the size of the "problem" i've taken-on. Maybe Task is a better word. It'll settle; it'll mellow...

Maybe an exterminator that can find, treat and patch up holes would help? They’re supposed to be good at that type of thing.

 

Thanks. Too many. Really. I'll spray what I can find as far as points of entry but there are probably more than a hundred areas a bug could get through. The cost of living in the country in a 125 year old house, I suppose.

 

Incase anyone else is wondering I confirmed with ARB over phone that the OME 886 springs WILL NOT work with the new MT64s if you have a full front end you will want the 4004 springs that wheelers offroad sells them with.

Here they are boys… Enkei RPT1’s 18x9 ZERO offset in LE silver wrapped in 265/70-18E Cooper AT3 XLT’s… now just to mount, adjust coilovers (if needed), get OEM TMPS sensors linked and an alignment.

Morning and a Happy Friday all…

Yeaterday, I passed my first ‘24 Taco on the road headed down 340/9 into WV. It was a black one, so not the best color to see all the new lines and designs of it… but I have to say, I wasn’t thrilled. Was cool to finally see one, but it didn’t do anything for me. Where’s the hype?? Maybe I need a brighter color a bit more up-close??

 

Good morning MD. I saw one on 95 heading back from Va. last weekend. It looked like a grey SR so it was pretty plain with steel wheels. Looked kind of like the new Nissans. I am sure the higher option ones will look better.

 

For the price they want for these things… they better look much better! And after that video someone (sorry, forget who) recently shared of one blowing the 4WD out while just loosing a little traction in ice/snow… ain’t no way!! I mean, I know the first 1-2 years of an “all new” design have bugs and gremlins to get out… but this sounded like something let go in the t-case after a loud pop.

That’s just too much for not enough!!
