I got one to sell. It's been sitting and where I want to put it just isn't going to be good. Decided to sell.

I mean.. I still get down.. obviously.. but after a solid 13 years of wrenching on the same Truck.. it gets exhausting and boring after all this time. I can definitely come by and help out man. You've got everything there we need.

@Aw9d has 2 lifts... Not using either of them. Lol

You guys wonder why my truck isn't back together after 3yrs lol...... I got tired of working on the same truck for 15yrs. I have a day of work and could be back on the road but it's still working on the same old pig that kills the motivation. I will say though, coming up and seeing the boys for an impromptu mod day got me looking at it again and lit a fire under my ass to get back to it.

I am in the same boat

I used to have a built up rock crawler Jeep TJ, but I swear the drive time to wrench time ratio was 1 : 1

with the bike I only wrench on it to add new parts or change fluids

I modified a cardboard sheet. The final layer of paper plates on the front, the "redecorating" from the rear. And I guess one went a little high and hit the frame ...

Speaking of maintenance stuff one of the big question marks I've had on my mind... anyone know of someone who does rebuilds and/or tuning on the Fox internal bypass shocks?

They're kind of funky in that it looks like you have flat shims instead of washers to control bypass flow? Or is that just kind of fixed and the piston discs are still what does your tuning.

Been pondering getting the fronts more aggressively valved so I can ditch the front sway.

Yeah, I'd probably grab some dogshit coilovers from rockauto and just rock those until my foxes get rebuilt.

This won't be for a while tho, I'm at 37K and the official Fox party line is every 50K, plus the truck had about 8K or so on it before I swapped on the Foxes.

I’ll reach out to him and see if it’s in his wheel house to patch up in the future for ya.

I recently swapped to pro fox takeoffs and saved my coilovers and rear shocks specifically for when these will need to get rebuilt. If you need to borrow them for a bit in the future, you’re welcome to. I’m over in surprise.

Thanks man! Yeah I turned around and sold mine to someone who was in desperate need of new shocks on theirs. :)

I’d do the same if mine had any life left in them. At 99k miles, they’re too tired to be worth anything but perfect to roll around on during rebuilds.

Might want to check out TSW offroad. He mostly specializes in rebuilds for the fox raptor shocks but I know he just about anything. I've talked to him about rebuilding my icons on my tacoma and revalving the foxs on my f150.

Well glad we lit the fire. And it will be allot easier to find motivation if we just schedule a bbq at your place and get all hands on deck. I took off like 2 years there for a while and wasnt really wrenching. After the break and some life changes I got back into it. Definitely not as deep as I use to be when I was around everyone that could keep me motivated. Little harder up here in show low.
