Where did you find the front grill emblem?

    Thanks!

It looks like it did a Barrel roll down that hill and luckily landed on its wheels.

The '24 doesn't look like a round goldfish bowl like the 3rd gen's do. In another year when the 4th gens are everywhere, the general consensus will be that 3rd gen Tacoma's look extremely dated. And rightly so.

It is because the 3rd gen cab shape has been around since 2005, so it is dated.

I'm getting impatient on Toyota to figure out the QC issues on the 4th gen, and looked up used 3rd gens. It is most noticeable when looking at the rear

Or it’s classic…not sure the pinto Kleenex box trying too hard aggressive lines of the 4th gen will age well

All gens look good, I don't see the 3rd gens outdatedness on the exterior except when looking at the rear of the cab.

4th gen will age fine, I remember thinking the 2012 was too much when it came out lol

    Pfffff

It won't, but it has years to go before that will even matter.

I don’t think the 2nd gens look outdated, and I don’t think the 1st gens look outdated. I think they are both awesome looking AND have a V6 option. There you go again. How about we meet up and put our trucks to the test on a serious trail and you can tell me which one handles better and is the “better” gen?

Yes, there I go again, basically saying No yours does when people are being negative, and then people like you can't handle that.

I don't need to drive your 3rd gen, I've owned one, I have friends that still do own them, and I know which gen is better.

Oh I can handle it. You’re still on here trying to justify your purchase and justify as to why the 4th gen is the best without anything to back it up. And I didn’t say for you to drive mine. I said let’s meet up, you pick the line and the trail, and we’ll see whose truck makes it back down the mountain in one piece lol

I think those of us that buy cars/trucks every 10 years or so can live with this tragedy :)

How do you define better? More luxurious and more tech features or more durable and longer lasting. Or is better just whichever vehicle you currently own?

I'm in the 4th gen forum to talk about my 4th gen truck, which I like very much. The added salt being dumped in here from 3rd gen trolls is a bit hard to navigate, but I'm here for it.

The 4th Gen looks good inside and out. Still rugged looking but keeping up with modern looks. If it looked like the 3rd gen I would be really disappointed. Not that I don't like the 3rd gen but Toyota would be slightly slammed if it didn't offer new age looks with the latest tech.
As far as reliability, no one knows long term yet, but if it is half as reliable as my 09, it should be good.
1st year bugs will arise, no doubt, but historically Toyota remedies issues and delivers a reliable truck.

I was just thinking the same thing. I never really noticed the lines behind the wheels until now. Not sure if it’s the angle, but they do look dented up.

I snagged this pic at local dealer. A little funky, but in person it’s fine.

Are you really? It seems like you just want to post a few glamour shots of your truck and tell everyone how much better your truck is than their goldfish bowls.
