I'm like 90% sure. I have a little bit of camber and that's pushing my wheel bearing out far enough that when it droops all the way it slides out

puncture resistance was a big aspect of it. for not that much more per tire than trailer tires the truck tires stand up to much more abuse...

in my case I still want the trailer to stay planted while braking and have decent braking traction in adverse conditions. the rolling resistance of a skinny highway all season vs a trailer tire in same size isn't much of a concern to me compared to the weight of the loaded trailer at 8k

The day we rescued the truck with the hot seats, the trailer that was used had 4 heavy duty trailer tires on it, street tread for days, and was pulled just fine thru 2' of snow with a burnt Tacoma on the back. Unless they are powered, there is no need for aggressive tires on a trailer.

My wife bitched to Denver district 2, the mayor and the governor about the traffic where we live in Quebec. We offered to let the police park their speed van on our property and they showed up the next day. It looked like a light show that evening for the first hour with the bright light flashing when the camera was activated.

Hopefully they’ll come back once a week or so. The city sure could use the money.

I went and picked up a set of RSG sliders from a friend. They are much heavier than I anticipated. I’m probably going to put them on for Moab and then sell them and go with something lighter, such as Rocky Road standard sliders.

Rocky Mountains are not exactly easy on Sliders if you end up using them.

Thanks. The website says they have been made easier to install. I’ll look at their video before I do anything. I also need to get a weight for the RSG’s to compare before I do anything.

Nice! I live in a cul de sac, where kids play on the street, but some neighbors drive like they're trying to get to Dakar. The homeowners are responsible for road maintenance, so we're thinking of going halfsies with the neighbors across the street to put in two big speed lumps between our houses. Ideally, they would be spaced to high-center a car going about 40 mph. The sound of the frame slamming down would give me endless warm and fuzzies.....

    I hope you have a good lawyer…

if you actually want to slow down traffic you’ll need to plant trees along the street, make it narrower, and add features to make it not as straight (like altering parking between sides, adding planters).

Speed bumps just make drivers slow down for those and then aggressively speed up immediately after.
