Don’t sweat it, man. Just let the shop do their thing. You’re paying the professionals for a reason.

Stock is fine in my opinion. It's not like these things are exploding everywhere all the time

I can empathize. I drive down to FL from VA at least once a year.

A CSF from Rockauto is what I put in my Taco (also did water pump and fan clutch while in there). I had previously put a CSF in our 98 Sienna. My mom has that van now and the CSF is still in there, the oem radiator started leaking at about 140K; Sienna now has about 250K. TYC is another radiator brand I trust. I put one in the aforementioned Lexus. I installed it at about 70K and the Lexus now has just over 300K.

well shit. Maybe those are both good enough then.

Just looked up to see what a Denso would cost
Google is showing cheap as $140. Not too much more than those other brands on rockauto
but that could be misleading, because:
    1. it was listed on partsgeek, which in the past has been known to not really be the best place to get anything from
    2. maybe not include shipping
    3. might not even be the correct PN

I've gotten screwed by koyo and csf not fitting right out of the box

Denso fits perfect every time. That extra 40 bucks makes a difference
