So I searched to buy tickets for Dune and they were $17 non IMAX. I haven't been to the movie theater since 2018. Is this what the prices are now near you?

 

I paid $8 at my local theater. Definitely not IMAX! Small town theater and the only one in the county now. They could charge alot more....

 

I actually saw DUNE in 2021, I forgot. lol

What they included was spectacular, at times amazing. What they left out reminds me of the GOT meme of the horse with Part 2 being seasons 7&8

saw it last night at my local IMAX theatre, lucky to have one in town, though not as impressive as the 70mm IMAX at the Chinese Theatre in Los Angeles.
i liked it a lot and can't wait to see how Dune: Messiah wraps it all up.
the few issues i had are still with the new series as a whole, just some lost lore that i wish was touched upon a bit more.

 

I’m annoyed by the complete lack of guild navigators and why is Christopher Walken the Emperor. And by that I mean it’s not the emperor, it’s just Christopher Walken. He just walked in off the street and is Christopher Walken. I also maintain that Zendaya is a bad fit for these movies, but they were desperate to make her a thing so I’m just going to deal with it.

 

I agree. So much of the plot was left out they really skeletonized what they included. Can I add 'the weirding way' and out of utero 'Alia' to your list? I can see the weirding way being a non starter today with all the 'white man rescue' intonations but it wasn't always Paul soaking up Femen knowledge and culture.

But then again, Denis didn't fabricate hand held laser dishes... To adjust my spoiler above, what they included was spectacular; what they left out was significant.
