Anyone watch that Samkoworkshop guy on you tube. He's a jeep gladiator owner and a 4runner owner . But apparently he knows all the issues the new Tacoma is going to have already

 

In addition to these trucks having a tendency to leave a trail of shattered ADD parts in the mall parking lot, what other quirks do they have?

A few have had issues with wiring harness getting wet and causing a bunch of dash lights to come on. But we think that is fixed for any current trucks being sold.

 

The shattered ADD parts were contained. No littering occurred.

Active grille shutters stuck closed.
One reported case of the red Bilstein front shock shaft punching through the top hat.
One reported case of parking brake switch malfunction.

@It's a TRD Thang have you looked at Wrangler 4xe prices in your area recently? I suspect the 250-series Land Cruiser will be listed at similar levels.

 

A shock punching through a top hat simply should not happen.

After 30 years of corrosion, maybe.

Gtechniq is good stuff. I used CSL topped with Exo V4 on my 3rd gen. Looks better on 3rd gens too.

 

These guys need to find something more exciting to film than installing window film and wax. Maybe next week they can make a video of watching paint dry.

 

They are view whores. They know that post-release, especially early post-release, a video about how the truck is fooked-up will have more views than one about how great it is.

 

I thought the video was fine. Having been a jet black Corvette owner, I know first hand how important correction is before you ceramic coat.

 

Turd just like to complain

 

I stopped by local Toyota that had an SR5 off road or whatever on the lot. Someone was sitting in it with the motor running. Was making what sounded like some bad belt noise. Not impressive. I had just come from driving a Frontier Pro-4x and in comparison the Toyota seemed very cheap. I’m still interested in driving the Tacoma limited but I have to say that interest is waning fast. . Really have to question if Toyota has cheaped out on these given the 3 breakdowns I’ve heard about publicly (broken YouTuber 4wd, broken starter motor, broken front shutters) and just my quick experience today.

 

You’re saying the Tacoma felt cheaper than a frontier without having even sat in the Tacoma?

The Nissan is nicer than it used to be but it is cheaper for a reason.
