Hey Mike,They made these ported yrs ago,you could get with and without,its a JM stamped barrel which was made before Remington bought out Marlin. quality went down
after that buyout but now Ruger owns the Marlin name and they have brought the 1895 guide gun back out. with quality back up to snuff.

Good morning. heading to the movie theater today for an 11:30 movie start. Might be headed out tonight to hear my son play at a songwriters open mic night. Going to grocery shop, syop at a bird seed shop and recycle some Styrofoam. Going to be a busy day.

 

Looks like about 4” of snow outside so far. Rumor is (per our weathermen) snow all through todsy, tonight and stoping esrly Friday. Perfect day for man cave! Reading, reloading, old movies, etc.
School has been changed to online today, so the grandbabe will be home today hiding in her room…LOL!
May have to shovel some snow later in the day. Hopefully no broken branches will happen.

@Devious6 I'm sorry your pups both got sick at the same time. They have a way of becoming your best friend. My son has an older dog that is getting up in yrs 12, shes smaller but but has a lot love and personality. I know how hard it to watch them struggle. It has slowed down to the point it needs help to get in a pickup.

Toolbox arrived! They packed the thing as though it was going to war, I swear. Shipping weight 302 lbs., toolbox weight 199 lbs. That's a lot of protection. Good thing too, because someone bashed the pallet up pretty well but failed to make it through the layers of plastic, particleboard, cardboard, and air that surrounded the thing during shipment.

To my great good fortune it was at the perfect height on the bed of the Taco to slide right over onto the bottom box. Never had to try to lift the beast.

 

walmart had a sale today...

 

it was 78 degrees this afternoon in murrilin...and i had some chiggin...so I...

 

evening boys.... I'm tired... spent the day helping my neighbor load and unload a truck - he and his SO are separating, so he's moving out. Man what a mess!!! He's a great person, but OMG the mess!!! Thankfully another one of the neighbors came and helped, as well.
