Dodged a bullet today. We’ve been slowly packing up stuff from around the house to get ready to move. There’s been many hours of sifting through old documents and photos and multiple trips to the local Public Storage, Goodwill and the dump. Well, earlier this week Terri said she couldn’t find our wedding album so we checked every everywhere in the house, closets, under the beds, dresser drawers, everywhere we could think of and couldn’t find it. Of course i became the prime suspect in their mishandling and disappearance and she was certain that I boxed them up and took them to storage after having been told a dozen times that we don’t want to put any photo albums in storage. So this evening I went and opened every box in the storage unit and came up empty, no wedding album. So that left the dump or Goodwill and I said I would go to goodwill in the morning and check if anyone recalls seeing a wedding album in the donations. Then she asked me what was in the box on the top shelf of the “Christmas closet”, really just a bedroom closet full of Christmas decoration stuff. Lo and behold, there it was. Neither of us remembered boxing it up or putting in the Christmas closet but seeing that it was my handwriting on the box I’m still in the doghouse but not nearly as bad as it could have been.

Congrats to the happy ending in your treasure recovery process. Much better than to have it found at Good Will.

Bad storms last night. Not much sleep. Utility electric out. Up at first light this am, quick checked everything. News shows more tornado cluster damage than I've ever seen. County trucks and line crews traveling together, clearing roads, fixing line breaks. It will be a slow process, until the sun comes up. News says 9 touchdowns between here and Indian Lake, 50 miles north... news says 6 or 7 td's. We were lucky, this time.

Good morning. Yesterday was busy but restful. Today should be more of the same. Wife went to a Patient First health care clinic yesterday for a cough she has had for 3 or 4 days. No problem just a bug that needs to run its course, whew. Off to the gym in a few minutes.

    Good Morning old guys,
    I'm 69 recently acquired a 2012 taco.
    Love it.
However the seat seems to aggravate my sciatica.
    Anyone else experienced this issue?
    Any advice appreciated.

Been reading older threads recommending seat jackers, may give them a try.

Good Morning Everyone Have a Great Friday.

Kevin good you found the wedding album. We don't have any professional pics of our wedding. Paid the deposit and that was it. He came he took the pics but digital wasn't a thing yet. He dumped the film in the wrong solution. we only have pics from friends many with the fool we hired. So he did apologize and offered us a studio shoot but I had to rent my tux again. Needless to say we said no, just take your deposit and we'll leave it at that, he had a great reputation but for us not. The only descent pic we have is from a friend' who asked the guy if he could take one next to him when we were at the altar. That's it

    Morning all:

    :fingerscrossed: for you also!
Tornadoes are scary, luckily they are few and far around here!

I prescribe blackberry brandy for the wife's cough Tom, only in moderation though. :)
I don't drink, but when I get a bug and am coughing, I head to the state store for blackberry brandy, seems to help and lets me get a somewhat decent night's sleep. :notsure:, hope she gets over the bug quickly.

I had the same problem. I got the jackers that lift the rear of the seat. It was an easy install even with my stiff old self. I hope they help you, they certainly did help me.

First of all welcome to the group.

I have no tips for the back. Other than a chiropractor and check your posture when sitting. You may be sitting differently than your old ride. I've had an 04 Gen 1 and a couple Gen 3s.no issues.

Welcome to the porch, good group on here with many varied interests and pics. are always welcome, BTW, it's your turn to fill the cooler!
If you carry a wallet in your hip pocket try driving with it removed, no guarantees on that solution but I have read where it can make a difference.

I hope you all like Heineken,
    Consider the cooler filled.
I ditched the fat wallet with my first sciatica attack.
    Dr called me George Castanza,
    (Seinfeld reference)
I'm going to try jacking the back of the seat up and see if that helps.
    Maybe look for a replacement.
    Thanks all.

Agree, I used to carry a badge, when I moved it - I felt better. I was young then.
