How far up north? Snow is headed in for the weekend. Maybe rain a little lower.

 

willing to go north, south, east or west. Just want a cool spot that is similar to Rim Road which is currently closed. Love the view of that.

 

Well take your pick of direction you want to head but the desert to the pines road will get you up just south of young and there are some cool spots there that get you high in the pines overlooking lake Roosevelt and lower elevations.

I personally would say go north to south. A little faster going up the rim and turning on the young road then getting over to the rim and finding a spot, then completing the road south to Roosevelt so you get the view all the way home rather than trying to look over your shoulder to see it all.

 

I have one that I will never use. It’s brand new. You can have it for cheap. DM me.

It's not quitting time yet so it is still not Friday for me. What a s**t show this week.

 

It's all good. I bought a short one from tractor supply and the normal size one will be delivered at some point. I probably won't use mine either lol. I just wanna be prepared for being out in the boonies thru Thursday.

 

I can walk out of this bitch right now and say I am going to a "job site". This week was just par for the course. Stressful....

 

My company is going through "changes" that have not be officially announced to the public yet so I cannot be more specific, but "Stressful" is a good way to describe it. Then we had a "Security" incident on top of it (computer related). Not a fun couple of weeks. Supposed to be on PTO next week during kids spring break camping with the wife, kids and dogs in Sedona but I will probably just be working remotely most of the time.

 

Oh that doesnt sound fun at all. Sucks you are even going to need to work remotely on top of the much needed break it sounds like.

 

Yea no. Fuck that. Learned after my years if I’m on PTO. I’m out. Don’t contact. If I’m not getting paid I’m not doing the work.
I don’t play them games anymore.
If you do that then they’ll just continue to abuse you for it.

 

Yeah, I hear you and I agree.

I'm at a place in my life where I don't have to play that game but at this point it is more for my team than my company as my team has always had my back and I don't want to screw them (or what's left of them)

 

Thats great you think that way! I try to get everything set up before I leave on vacation so I am not screwing people over. Compared to my predecessor who basically threw up his middle fingers and walked out for vacation. I just hate walking back into a shit show my first day back.

 

So much this

 

As much as I prepare everyone for while I am gone it still keeps me up the night before my return. Cats gone the mice will play.

 

I just wish other leaders in the sales center could get on board with this. Every time a counterpart steps out, I have to clean up the mess they leave behind.

meanwhile I check in like 5x before I leave to make sure everyone's all good.

 

It amazes me how some people can sleep at night.
