Heres another Heron shot, with poor lighting but lucky timing.

I did a double take on this one. It looks a lot like Reno.

No way the balloon knot of a city of Nevada could look this good.

Buy used. I got a good deal on my body, 7Dmkii. Sure it's a ten year old camera but it works really well and was in great condition. Glass is key though, I splurged on top end glass, but again, I bought all used equipment. Even have a 70-200 f2.8 coming later this year for free. Deals are out there.

Lenses are really where you want to put your money after getting a decent body. A top of the line camera body won't mean anything if your lenses/glass are cheap. But a decent few year old camera body with excellent glass....no one will know you're using an older body. Camera companies pump out new bodies every year to stay competitive but really not much changes, and your average Joe does not need 60 megapixel RAW files just to take good pics.

I need to plug our old 5D MarkIII workhorse into my PC and see what the shutter count is, I am willing to bet its way over its rated number by now.

We did just get a Canon EOS R6 mark II but I'm only using it for video at this point.

I really don't need anything, my a6000 is fine, it's been used and abused the last 5 years bouncing around in my chest in cold asf in the winter and dusty and hot in the summer. but still works fine, but it is 10 years old also.

    just wants not need hah

My poor Nikon D800 is so beat up from all the trails I took it on a few years ago. Still works great though. But whenever I do gigs outside of my job I just take the camera from work lol.

Going back and forth between Nikon and Canon is frustrating, they intentionally make it a PITA I think. All controls are literally reversed

Tell them you need a Phase One med format digital camera and nothing else will do

    https://digitalback.com/products/ph...VU7HLoFQ1NDNs7_OikYaZmjGIQQM7Us5-NRg9BPeZH6Uk

We actually have one of the first models of this Phase One camera here at work, I haven't taken it out of its case in years though. Kind of sad because it's a great camera still but it's just way too much for what we do now. Company could probably sell it for several grand still.
