I feel that...good in some ways, bad in others. Our company is privately owned too because the owner would rather die than see anyone else have any kind of control over it. So the nepotism within the ranks is real. And he gets away with all kinds of shit he wouldn't otherwise. But if you're well liked by him and the others that have been here their entire careers then you do well, somehow I found myself liked by the right people I guess.

I guess we're privately owned by an investing group if that makes sense. Our company is full of family also, hell my boss is my ex uncle haha.
    But it all works out

yup, it's wild to me how people can spend several grand on a camera body and then buy some cheap, slow AF aftermarket lens for it. The art is in the lens, not the camera body. Unless you need the resolution to shoot for billboards and you're using some early-mid 2000s digital body, no one is going to know any better.

    Yep

Although I'm not up to speed on how important the specs are for a camera body, it's easy to know the lens really does all the work

For a rifle, it's the difference between deciphering an artificially colored target in what looks like a mirage or getting minimal to no distortion with color accuracy so you can better focus on what you're trying to hit (or hold over)

Pair that with someone that doesn't have good vision (I'm still 20/20 fortunately) and holy shit they can't see shit even at a 1,000 or 1,500 yards even if it was brightly colored

Yup, all blind as bats. My mom, dad, siblings and I. Grandparents too as far as I know. My sister and one of my cousins actually has a degenerative eye disease that will render them almost completely blind eventually, also genetic. She can't drive at night anymore because of it. Luckily my brother and I didn't get it but it sucks. I forget what its called, I'll have to ask her next time

But yeah, Rebecca is nearsighted too like me but not as bad. So I think it's like 99.99% that River and Sofia will be too
