Edit: just Googled 4th gen Tacoma steering. Sounds gucci....and expensive to repair

 

No pump. Just a motor inside on the steering shaft.

 

I just wanted the OP to look for the reservoir.

Just call the Toyota customer line, and ask for a guy named Sheldon. Tell him Roman sent you, and he’ll send a team of engineers straight to your location.

If the fluid has an orange tint to it then it’s definitely blinker fluid.

 

Yeah, our Craptrek, I mean Crostrek electric PS went out last winter - known issue of the cover corroding and letting water inside the rack to short it out. They covered for it, but would have been ~$1500. Only 8 years old. I'll keep my dinosaur prostate juice steering, thank you.
