General question for anyone here in regards to these vs the Spotter Mirrors...
My wife or Santa got me the Spotters a few years back and I've noticed that the views are great, especially being lifted, however, the defrost kind of sucks. Does anyone have any feelings towards this?

Really depends on what you like and your setup. I’m running 33’s and the medium/spicy is the perfect combo for me

I blacked out the logos on my center caps when I still had my sport wheels. Very easy, just pop the clips from the back. I scuffed them and sprayed them. 20231105_140351.jpg

Thought about doing this. I have some vinyl laying around and everything.
I haven't done it because I keep wondering how well it holds up offroad and don't want to go through the effort if it's just going to come off.

Had a bit of fun tracking down the Mercury Cyclone. My CSI Google-foo is restless. Found Colemillermma’s address, in case I want to approach him and ask him about his truck. Still working on geo-locating Rix Tux - this one is a little tougher.

Here is a picture @RIX TUX posted of himself, if it helps.

Sorry if this is a dumb question, but do you need to buy the whole assembly or could you just buy the glass? My truck already has the mirror defrost. Just curious because I am cheap. Lol

AutoZone/O'Reillys sells stick on "wide angle" for about $15. About as "least effort" and cheap as it comes.

Something else that helps is to angle the mirror down toward the ground. In my Corolla I had the mirror point straight back because it is at ground level. Last year after reading some posts I angled mine down on the Tacoma because straight-back does not help at that height.

I tried "wide angle" route and didn't like it. Then I scratched my mirrors removing them. I like the look of Rav4 ones that @bimmerlev posted.

It’s the glass as a whole part. Its cheap, like $70 on ebay OEM for both shipped. Or you can get add on mirrors from Amazon or a auto parts store for like $5-10. I prefer a clean OEM look.

Took my truck in for the freebie 10K service. I dropped a french fry on the carpet yesterday, and I could almost feel the “new car” aura leave the truck. That, and letting someone else change the oil… may as well part it out.

But that’s not all! I’ve been reported to the mothership for a number of egregious violations. I’ve probably voided my engine warranty by installing an “aftermarket drain valve”. And the OEM fog lights that aren’t connected to anything yet - well, I’m just praying my truck still starts tomorrow. They even made a surveillance video of the Taco for my FBI profile. My credit score has probably already dropped, and my insurance rates are likely being ‘reviewed’ as you read this.

    1984 is here!

Fell prey to cabin fever and broke down for a non functional visual update.. New Pro grill, non Toyota @ $123.00 with the TSS garnet. Watched a YouTube, takes about 30-40 minutes, LV1 skill set. ABS plastic in a black satin finish, with a 1 piece Letter set. I needed 1 screw (larger diameter), and used a round file on one area for better bolt alignment.
Everything was very well wrapped, durable box, bubble wrap, and precision cut foam, 10/10 on packing.

Old cheapo grill badge was developing some discoloration and I can't have that so I got a better quality one and get it installed.
