Agree, I used to carry a badge, when I moved it - I felt better. I was young then.

I have both the front and back seat jackers on my 2015. They seemed to help me be more comfortable, but the back is still a bit high, so I need to remove one of the washers. I’m 5’7” now and 155 lbs if that makes any difference.
I was having sciatica issues a year or so ago. Changed up my stretches and workouts and it has gone away.

Still cold and covered in snow here. Sun might come out late in the day. Perfect day for working out and messing around in the man cave!
    Everyone have a great day!

A little something every chance we get.
:pccoffee: Good Morning Porch Pals & Sue! Looks like a damp weekend, with probably some wet. Did manage to get the big pots out of the greenhouse, try to get the little ones off the shelf today. Otherwise, just too tired to do much.

Everyone avoid the big storms, and don't lose important personal stuff!

Welcome to the porch. We are not choosy as long as the cooler is full of ice cold liquid refreshments. Before you get seat jackers have your doc refer you for some physical therapy and then do the exercises you will learn daily. That may just work wonders. Also check out some car seat and back cushions. There are some made specifically to deal with back pain and sciatica.

    YIKES!
I’ve had a couple burned off my temples and some from the top of my head. Temples not fun. Top of head not even noticeable.
Good luck with not getting any more! I’ve been wearing brimmed hats the last couple of years with good results so far.

My annual checkup, my Dr looks me over. Otherwise you need to visit a dermatologist every couple of years.

When you have little skin blotches or growths you need to see a physician. They will determine the pathology and treatment. As we get older we are prone to these skin abnormalities, they are called seborrheic keratosis. All of us will likely get some especially on our face and head. You need to have a physician examine them to rule out malignancy (cancer). They rarely turn to cancer but cancerous skin lesions can look like benign seborrheic keratosis. They most often are treated or frozen with liquid nitrogen in the doctors office. Quick, simple, easy.
The most common malignant skin lesion is bcc (basal cell carcinoma). These can be treated in various ways including surgery, topical medications and other treatments. BCC. BCC won’t kill you, it is exceedingly rare that it spreads to lymph nodes or the blood stream. Only if it were ignored for many many years could it pose a danger to life and that again is quite rare.
There are lots of other malignant skin lesions such as melanoma or squamous cell carcinoma and dozens of others that are life threatening.
Many of these are caused by sun exposure 20, 30 or more years ago. Those of us, especially fair skinned who use to burn our ass off in our youth are most prone to these malignancies. I would advise any of us oldster’s especially who got a lot of sun exposure in our youth or worked outside have a complete skin exam by your physician or better by a dermatologist. After that you and your doctor can decide how often to have a skin exam. Some of these skin cancers like melanoma are no joke. Once they invade deep into the layers of skin and spread to the lymph node or blood stream there is no cure. Treatment is palliative, it may prolong life but it will kill you. The singer and entertainer Jimmy Buffet recently died from a rare and aggressive form of skin cancer. I discovered a melanoma on the top of my foot about 15 years ago. It was in-situ which means it was in the very top layer of skin the epidermis so it couldn’t spread. Had I not discovered it , within a year or more it would have invaded deeper and I wouldn’t be here today. Because of that history I have a yearly complete body skim exam by a dermatologist yearly.
Way longer post than I intended. Bottom line if you have any little skin lesions, have them checked, don’t ignore them, it may save your life.

Yeah uesd the cream on my face a year ago. one small spot left that I am treating now as well as my scalp. day 4 of 21 this time. had to wait until my chemo for something else was completed to address my scalp, all the now little red spots is what is known as actinic keratosis.

Actinic keratosis can turn into squamous cell carcinoma. They absolutely need to be treated. They are pre cancerous lesions caused by sun exposure. Most family physicians are trained to identify, biopsy, diagnose and treat certain skin lesions. This is another lesion common with us “mature” peeps, in other words old farts.

I went in to a dermatologist a couple of years ago at the suggestion of my doctor... and I was sitting in the room with my shirt off and the guy came in followed by a nurse and said immediately, "Why are we seeing this guy? He doesn't need me to look at him."

He'd never even asked why I was there. He turned around and walked out and we were done. Since then I've heard the guy is a major dick and not good at his specialty, so I'm wondering if I should have gone to somebody else. I've noticed a lot of changes in my skin as I get older.
