I encountered the same bs last night on a run with 2 other random and I don’t guess anyone uses a mic because I was trying to find out the load out I should be using. And they just kept at it, today I had a random from Britain that was actually guiding me as to what to do and lo and behold we got several good bonuses when it was all over with .

 

"So far" I haven't had any issues like that when playing with randoms. The time will come though. Is what it is. Fuckem... It's just a game. We generally always play with a team and we are our own worst enemies (which is fun). We are lucky if we extract with at least one life left. But it's funny as hell while playing. Randoms being dicks? That's another story especially if you put over 30 mins of your time in a mission only to be booted or killed etc...

 

Yootoob makes all kinds of noise about "toxic kicking" but I've not seen it personally. I've only been kicked once after playing with a group that was... bad. I didn't mind.

 

So how does that work? Are you stuck with the same group that you start with until someone leaves or you leave?

I've only been randomly kicked once, after I helped to singlehandedly take down outposts and go out of my way for samples

Was odd cause I saw no real benefit other than having used me...but they would've benefitted even more had we continued to run missions (with my aid)

 

Okay, I guess I’m low man on the totem pole . So far I’ve just been on I guess what you would call resecuring missions . Or that’s all I’ve been able to do so far . And the randoms that join are around level 20 and up . And not sure if I’m the host or who is but just curious how I would give someone the boot if I am?

 

You're host if you started the game

 

Open the social menu and you can boot team members from there. It only shows up if you're leader.

I think I’ve been the leader every time I’m on , I’ll find a mission then start having randoms popping in game. But I’ll definitely start looking at menu options.
