I don’t have this bottle…I have the entry level, but this is round III for me! I just didn’t take a photo of this one! It pairs nicely will chocolate chips

 

I liked the basic so much I bought a grey and gold x2.

No regerts. This stuff is top 5.

 

@jandrews TW has a few of the grey label bottles of Seagrass. I think they are $250??? Somewhere around there. But this bottle entry bottle is good stuff! Gonna have to slowly enjoy this since it’s not the easiest to find out this way. And For ryes, of what I have, it’s probably my favorite. And also pairs nicely with my bourbon burst Les Paul

Blue Note or Heaven Hill

 

Picked this one up at the market today

 

Well it's interesting. It's better chilled or over ice. But I will be getting another bottle. It's weird but I like it. A recommendation from the liquor shop lady, who has befriended me, in my search for blackberry crown. Walked in and her exact words were " honey we still have none and per the state they are out. But I got something you just might like, since you seem to enjoy the weirder things."

Little Saturday pour

 

I think this is the 4th bottle kill in the last few weeks. Space is starting to open up in the cabinet.

And glad I have a back up of this 1792 FP bottle.

 

Picked up these two today.

Both are great.

This is the Peerless. Spicy to start then Cherry Coke.

 

Curious if I could actually taste a difference between the two. SP definitely tastes like a slightly spicier and more robust version, but not quite as sweet. Finish is pretty similar.



I have a Bevmo SP, I might have to try it against the Raleys next, for scientific purposes of course!

I made the trip down to Chattanooga Whiskey. The tour of their experimental distillery was short but interesting. The number of experimental variations they have going is impressive. They do a great job with the tasting. I ended up bringing home two different exp batches this time.



I also picked up this BP Bernheim wheated whiskey at a local store. They had a good selection of allocated bourbon, but it was all way overpriced. At $69 the Bernheim was the only thing close to MSRP.

 

Do I have to go back and get my glasses checked or is that price $699.99?
