Listening to coworkers discuss what they want to bet on all weekend because "Well, I have to bet something...what are the west coast games in case I win my first bet...." Is precisely why I have $DKNG....

 

Interesting observation about the $NVDA 0DTE's today....for at least 10 strikes around the money (calls) their price at 10:06am (whatever it was) was 4x at the peak @ 10:48....

It also did this last friday 3/8 was 9:50 buy, 10:50 out on top at 4x

 

Tried to get weenie dog hyped this morning for quad witching day. He wasn't having it

 

Investing has resulted in me becoming so out of touch with average people.

Basically, I'm at a point now where investment income is past replacement level for my wage work. I frequently forget this is not the norm and it leads to weird moments.

Like for a short second when a friend is bitching about work I end up thinking "Then why not just stop until you find something you want to do?" - and then I remember most people *can't*, and that seems strange to me because I got here mostly by setting up a couple automatic deductions every check and then doing nothing for a decade and a half. It was incredibly non-complex.

Gambling might as well be lighting money on fire. GME plays aside, investing generally isn't gambling.
