That helps me fall asleep. Still end up waking up around 2-3 and wide awake thinking.

Planning...suspension, front slimline bumper, winch, full skids, 2" lift, SCS Ray 10's, Pizza cutters, Power Tray, Switch-Pro, Alu-Cab Contour Canopy.
It's easy if you can learn to just not give a S**T about anyone or anything. Personally, I have not figured that one out yet.
"Insta-Jail" in a bottle for me! That is why I just stick to the light beer now :D

Got a decent amount of snow here up north.
I just got my road plowed in time for the trash truck.

Worrying about getting the trash out makes me feel like my old man

I've just gotten used to it being a disaster when i get back. I'm one of those fools who takes on an extra responsibility and then everyone else magically forgets how to do it or leaves. At my old work depending on what hit the fan we had 4-5 people frantically trying to figure all I did out to cover for me, here it's only 3. I guess I'm learning to be better.

My problem again is that damm anxiety. If I see a problem it's going to bug me unless I figure it out.

Cinders run was snowed out... only got to see a little bit of cinder under all the blanket of snow!
    20240315_125458.jpg
That was freaking cool though! First time with the runner in the snow and it's a monster. Was worried about getting stuck but nope it just plowed through the fresh snow like it was nothing. Although, plow was the key term. Tons of understeer.

Stopped at a little roadside attraction by Moenkopi that had dinosaur tracks and didn't realize I had almost parked on top of one!

I'll suggest the mill canyon dinosaur site, very cool, lots of fossilized bones that haven't been excavated. Think there's some tracks close buy too. I did a portion of the "buttes and towers" trail also. Pretty tame but fun.

    Glad you had fun.

If you (or anyone else) ever do get in trouble in the Cinders or that general neck of the woods, there is a flagstaff thread with a few guys in the area if you need help.

I am only a couple mins away myself.

    Cat Update:
One of my clients happens to be Castle Hot Springs Resort. When I was out there earlier this week fixing some switches that had lost their config, I took the chance and asked them if they wanted some cats. Turns out they need more cats for pest control so they are willing to take as many as they can get.
This evening we were able to trap 2 of the cats we really wanted to find homes for, Smudge and OJ. Shortly after we got to the neighborhood, we were able to catch OJ pretty quickly just by luring him into the cage with food. It took another hour for Smudge to show up, another 30 minutes to get him in a carrier and a nice big gash on my left ring finger but I got his ass.
After loading them up we made our way out to CHS Resort in the rain via Castle Hot Springs Rd. A nice excuse for some light night off-road driving. They keep the road in pretty good shape so it’s always passable unless there is a really powerful storm. Got them unloaded, introduced to their new home and finally got back home around 10:00PM.
From the streets of downtown Phoenix to living in a fucking resort. Win.
