I have bronze, I have to say that they have a really unique and nice paint/powder coat. They are more of a satin than matte. Just washed my truck for the first time since October.

That being said, I initially really wanted a silver or gunmetal set... The bronze has grown on me after 4 years.

As someone with the gunmetal, I am jealous. I had bronze SEMA’s that were on my previous MGM, but my new truck is CSM and I just couldn’t get over the bronze wheels on the silver and got a steal on gunmetal F5’s that I couldn’t pass up.

Those are 16x8 - 25 I assume? I ordered the same set for my pro. I think it will go nice with solar octane, can't wait to see them in person.

They're really nice wheels. Went with Method 703's instead after seeing them on my friends truck, but these were my #2.

Indeed .. they aren't obnoxious, however they are more aggressive than most folks want. To me they are perfect with flares... I wound up having to put some mud flaps on to keep my paint intact.

Yeah, I would say K02 are the most aggressive non-M/T you can get, at least one of them.

BUT, to follow-up, I went with these, and I like them a lot.

It depends on what you’re comparing it to. Compared to a street tire then yes. Compared to a RT or MT then no. I would say they are pretty comparable to most other popular AT’s. Maybe on the more aggressive side, but I would say duratracs and ST Maxx’s are more aggressive, personally.

Right on they look really good. It was a no brainer for me, if I ever want wider tires then 255s the 8in wide 0 offset give me no more clearance for the uca then my stock pro wheels have. Lots of guys around here want the 17s with - 38mm, I don't like 17s personally.

My trucks at a local shop getting a cab mount chop and kp offroad alignment tabs as a peace of mind thing for me lol

With a CMC /relocation you'll be able to run 285. Im on stock SR suspension and I didn't get an alignment... No clearance issues, not even with some mild trail miles in the past 4 years ... The negative offset does make everything tight especially when talking about scrub radius.

I really don't Mind having a cmc done it was always in the plans before I bought the truck. Not interested in lifting it just making clearance. my old colorado was on 35s with a 1in level only and I had everything cut enough that it cleared no matter how hard you pushed it offroad.

Those trucks you really didn't have to touch the body mount unless you went 37s or a crazy offset. The f5s are more for less rotating mass then anything in my opinion. I kinda love the 255s so I'll probably keep them until they're worn out

About to retire the 265/75/16 BFG ko2s because they ride like shit. I’ve got a 6112/5160 lift with icon rxts and Bilstein UCAs. Any recommendations on a softer tire? Could I do 285s or would I have to cut the cab?

I have the same suspension set up with different UCA's. Went from 255/85 r16 Cooper ST Maxx to 285/75 r16 Falken Wildpeak AT3. The Wildpeaks feel as though they have a significantly softer ride than the Coopers did in my experience. With that comes a slightly thinner sidewall from what I understand. That is not a direct comparison to the Ko2's but I'm fairly confident the Falken's will ride softer than the BFG's from everything I've read/watched. I'm getting a little rub while turning with compression with the 285's on 0 offset F5's on my third gen but haven't trimmed any plastic as of yet or done CMC. Looks like you're a 2nd gen so your experience may be different. Overall liking the Falkens thus far. Falken also recently released the AT4 but I think it has a beefier sidewall than the AT3 so may ride a bit more harsh as well. Not sure if any of that was helpful but good luck and look into the Falken's.

mine are the -25mm so I imagine I’d definitely have some substantial rub with with 285s. I do like the falkens though. I’m between those and some duratracs.

Yeah my experience with the KO2 was that they were pretty rough after 20k

I have to say 265/75/16 Falken wildpeaks in SL were the smoothest and most capable AT tire Ive ever owned. Lasted 55k with semi-regular rotations. Worth a look if your not in need of E Load.
