    Ain’t no way you’re gonna catch me paying that simply for a rod… hand made or not, I don’t care. I know fly fishing is a completely different breed of fishing with high demands on performance, but that’s just a bit much!! But you’re right… if you got the means and it makes you happy. Who am I to tell you otherwise?

    Was pulling in to a parking spot yesterday (mistake #1, I never pull in to parking spots unless I can pull through) at the Amish market in Hunt Valley, got distracted as I came to a stop and nosed the Taco in to a guard rail. Messed up the tag holder and the trim piece across the front of the bumper. Not ready to shell out for a steel one yet so I’m glad the painted parts are ok. All together $220 worth of plastic that will be here at the end of the week. I’m so pissed off at myself, would rather be spending that on some really good tequila.

    Man, that sucks. At least the damage is minimal!

    Last year a high school girl backed into the front of my truck in a parking lot. I’d taken it across the US and to Canada without any damage (not counting some pin striping from trails) and a high schooler gets me in the parking lot. I wasn’t even in the truck lol…I was so mad. I feel your pain!
