Back to the salt mines today. Busy right out of the gate. It's a funny thing, but I'll get called in during the week to cover manpower, but on the weekends when we're short, no help is available.

Good Saturday morning to all, hope everyone stays safe, warm, dry.

 

Yeah, that's pretty rude. Packing is a very personal thing, and should be done by the person/people moving. I have had this experience once, long ago. I am the type to wait until everything is ready to be loaded into a truck/trailer before I ask someone to help me, or hire someone.

 

$4,000 for one rod???

I have never fly fished, but I do know that bamboo rods are the Rolls Royce of fly rods. But holy shit........

 

Alrighty then........ Maybe once I win the PowerBall. Of course I have not the first, second, or third clue as to how to fly fish. "Normal" fishing, no problem. Maybe if I win the PowerBall, I'll buy two bamboo rods, and bribe one of you knowledgable folks with the other rod, to give me some lessons

 

My Cat Gunny Has as fascination with garbage disposal splash guards . I went to wash my coffee cup a few minutes ago and found the splash guard missing

After a quick search around my house I found it on my couch

I have a bamboo rod that a widow lady gave me because she knew I would appreciate it. But she keeps asking me if I have fished with it and I always tell her I’m afraid to. It is an antique but a good many were made so it’s not an extremely expensive piece but I still don’t believe I will ever use it it’s a very pretty rod. Her late husband had bought it.

 

Don’t look at high end mountain bikes.

 

My brother-in-law is a triathlete and has a few bikes, road and mountain. They may not be the Rolls Royce class, but they are $$$$$$$. I had never heard of a bike with a single sided front fork until I saw one of his mountain bikes.
