    They do exist!
I took my Truck in today for my first service. It's an '07 I bought in August with 30K on it, now at 35K it was time for an oil change etc. I don't normally take vehicles back to the dealer but thought being the first one I should have them take care of it.

I've also been noticing a rear end noise the last couple days, which I suspected might be a bad wheel bearing. The wheel bearing is covered under the original powertrain warranty and she tells me the rest of my service is free since it was the first service since I bought it. Then gives me a punch card for buy 3 services get 1 free so now if I go back and pay for 2 more I get another free service. I know they are trying to hook me but pay for 2 and get 2 free how can you beat that, it's cheaper than I could do it for myself. They might have made a customer out of this DIY guy.

My question to you, why not let them treat you right???

IF it is cost effective, saves you time and they "FIND" things you might have mi$$ed,PLUS WARRANTY them, again why not??

Dealers know they HAVE to bring the customer back and it starts with SERVICE.....give someone a good product at a good price...they will be back..

I am glad to here other dealers are doing this, my LOCAL dealer "Stepped" back up for my Re-frame and won back a customer....Not easily done with our history on sales department goofs and with 5 "TOYOTA" stores less than an hour apart GREAT CSR is IMPORTANT ;)..

Good luck and continue to make that "Service" writer your friend, sounds like you will both be happy :).

Snoope, have any of the dealer/service depts, here in Srn NH/NE MA treated you wrong? This is my first Toyota living in the area and not sure which dealers have good/bad rep. Generally a DIY guy, but you never know when you'll need the convenience of the dealer.

I will answer with who has treated me right...

Bill Dube Toyota in Dover,NH did my last two "campaigns" a) my ball joint re-call b) my Re-frame and won a customer back...with the little "details" .....and has done all of my services since on both the Taco' and Camry...why roll around in the cold when their "Quick Lube" prices are within a few $$$ of DIY ;)...

I PM'd you a list of who is where and honestly will price from all 5 of them when a new purchase is needed BUT Dube will be given the "Last" visit to match anyone else...saving $500-1000 will not matter if the "back door" can be aggravating....
