Well back to the vet tomorrow morning, Dex is struggling again and when he does poop it's liquid with bright red blood. Like last time except he seems more constipated. Keeps happening so either something's stuck in his stomach or there's another issue. Last time they didn't think it was a foreign object so they didn't recommend X-rays but I think we need them now. Just weird that it goes away back to normal after a week on meds then comes up again a few months later. Poor guy didn't even want all of his chicken and rice which he normally goes crazy for

 

Wouldn't bright red suggest it's near the end of the line instead of stomach? Poor guy, hope it's something simple and not dumb like an avocado pit

 

Yeah if it were dark red/black blood that would indicate more of an emergency cause it could be a deep internal bleed. Haven't seen avocadoes in the yard but you never know, I did find a half decomposed possum carcass in the yard a couple months ago that I'm sure he dragged out. May have gotten a bug from some bad possy meat

So, Theo's in that stage (has been) where he mimics everything someone does

It was funny watching him trying to snap his fingers cause he wasn't making noise

But an interesting one was he'll sometimes cover his ear with one hand; I do that about once a day or every other day when my tinnitus sets off as it helps the sharp pain a bit if I cover/apply pressure to my ear and he seems me do it often
