Morning Stockers a little snow on the ground, might get some more. So I’ve got a disappointing story from yesterday. Wife and I ran errands yesterday and grocery shopping, nothing special. We make a stop at Target, go get a cart. The stack of carts are there but I can’t get them apart. There’s a few loose ones and grab one of those. As I start to push the cart I notice a set of keys in the little Shelf/Seat thing. So I take the keys up to the service counter and say I have found them in my cart. Guy looks at me all confused and says what do you want me to do with them . I had to explain to him that the owner will be looking for them and most likely will come to service counter, they ain’t leaving without them.

 

This world is going to Hell in a handbasket real quick...

 

What the hell happened, please, thank you, excuse me, no go ahead, sir you dropped this. People have become rude and stupid in the last few years.

 

I can't even say sir/ma'am anymore as I got corrected a couple times...

 

When shopping we always go to lane with a person. So our cashier was my age or older,67. There’s a pricing problem and she’s struggling to get it corrected. You can hear people grumbling and getting impatient, saying something rude about older people. I’m about to re-educate the assholes and my wife is grabbing my arm. I’m sure this woman is not working at Target out of boredom, it’s because she can’t make ends meet. Don’t get me started on the parking lot.

 

I went off on a Karen one time in Walmart. This was still mask era C19 so she couldn't see my identity. There was long lines and everybody was patiently waiting and this woman was just going off about waiting and asking to see a manager. I just went off, not a single cuss word, but she couldn't even complete a full on response without an "F" you

Haven't ever done that before and hope to never do that again. It's a wonder I wasn't actually banned from there, although the manager low key thanked me

One day late St. Paddy's Puppy Pic. she hit 6 months this weekend. Looking like she'll remian undersized.

 

@Sig45 I don't know how you do trim all the time, but just my small bit I did in the kitchen yesterday left me mentally drained. 22.5°, 45° angles, measuring, cutting. Sheesh, I'm glad it's paint grade as there are a couple 1/32" - 1/16" gaps I'm not happy about. Also had to make some new post for the little island bumpout thing I wasn't completely happy about, but after sanding them down it's acceptable...

I am glad I have an air 18ga and 16ga finish nailers. I can't manually drive a nail worth a shit
