Good morning all. Bright and sunny, but crisp here. Was 27* at 0800 when I went out to check on the chickens.

This is the chicken pen/run I built last summer (this pic was taken a few days ago). There is a second small "bought" coop back under the tarp covered area. Tarps were my attempt to keep some of the ground dry for the chickens, but it is only minimally effective. Place turns into a mud swamp if it rains heavy. The electrical cord goes to a heater, special made for chicken coops. The black & white lump in the foreground is our Aussie, Huck. He absolutely loves to sit and watch the chickens, and whenever he gets right up to the pen, the birds go nuts for him, and will follow him all around the pen. It is quite comical.

 

But, I thought the answer was 42??
