I definitely learned how to cuss in the cradle, but it was from my dad, not my mom. I heard my mom utter exactly one swear word in the 37 years of my life she was alive.

My dad, on the other hand....... whoooo-we, doggies! He had a most impressive vocabulary of "colorful words":rofl: And I learned a fair share of them while I was holding the flashlight for him while working on cars ;)

    :p

    which reminds me...

Yesterday Mrs Gritto and I took a long drive on the gravel logging roads in Michaux State Forest.
I remarked how much dead wood was accessible right next to the roads.

    Me:
Man, that would be too easy.
Back when we heated with wood primarily, I had all kinds of competition finding firewood.
Everybody and his brother had permits.

    Also me:
Whats the matter with young men these days? Are they too lazy?

    Mrs Gritto:
    They're all Pussies.

I may have picked up a few choice words / phrases in the Army, but I was already very well accomplished by the time I graduated high school. More than once my mother introduced my mouth to the bar of Lava soap that my dad used to wash vehicle grease and whatever off his hands. Lava soap has kind of a sour taste to it, in case anyone was wondering.... o_O:anonymous::argue::militarypress:

    Mrs. Gritto is spot on.
    They are lazy and weak!

The only time I have generally been not disappointed with yung uns is at the Rodeo.
Kids round there are yes sir/no ma'm and generally well behaved.

One of my more liberal friends said, yea because their parents hit them [in a condescending tone]
My response was: can't argue with the results tho!

    Next Rodeo is May 3/4th!!
Love me some tie down ropin'
