Northern Virginia Roll Call

I went to Dirt Farm on one of those warm Feb days. I guess it was ok. I don't drink, so don't really expect a review from me. The views were nice

 

Looks nice. Was that trail in the area? I had coworker tell me there is a water crossing out there. But she moved and I never found out where it was.

 

Yeah. There's 130 miles of gravel roads in Loudoun County, that I usually go on the motorcycle. That particular crossing was near Purcellville, on Jeb Stuart Rd.

Cuz meng, I watched a 2-door randomly get it on 66 today.

I nearly crapped my pants. I'm sure the owner did.

It's now technically Philomont road haha. I also recommend stopping at the philomont store if you're ever near. It's a go to mid ride stop for me (on the bicycle haha) and they are always super nice.

 

Dirt Farm is awesome, super nice views and the owner is cool and a local. His family owns the farm at the bottom of the mountain.

There is another brewery opening up on route 671 soon, northwest of purcellville on the way to harpers ferry, I'm pretty excited for various reasons haha.

 

I've been in there once or twice. Friend has a house just south on Snickersville.

 

nice, that's a beautiful road to live on. Not too busy like some of the others around there but easy enough to get to purcellville or aldie/middleburg.

 

She bought some land and built her house on it for that reason. She rides motorcycles and loved the road for that.

 

Diagonally opposite the intersection from the Philomont general store is where my great grandfather had his blacksmith shop from 1900-1905. I've been thru that water crossing several times years ago.

 

I’ve seen that driving by, can’t wait to check it out.

Shout out to @DOUBLLD for his work on my friend's 2020 Pro...looks killer! Got to hang out and chat with him for a bit last night and see his sweet garage set up (and awesome mountain location). Also got to see and hear what is probably the coolest Taco I have ever seen! That LS-swapped beast is sick! I could listen to the sound of that exhaust for hours, haha. Super cool.

It's fantastic that we have a great mechanic that knows our trucks right here in our backyard. Will definitely use Greentree Auto/Fab (https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/doublld-greentree-auto-fab.802366/#post-29047328) anytime I need something done that is beyond my skills!
