Happy Monday afternoon. The weather has turned colder, the winds have picked up. Last week we had a serious windstorm, I found some damaged siding on the house on Friday. I also realized that the grill cover was MIA.. I looked around the yard and just laughed it off. On Saturday morning the neighbor across the street sent me a text, asking if I had lost my grill cover. I told him yes, assuming that he just drove past on the side road and noticed it was gone. A few minutes later my door bell rings, and there's Gordon with my grill cover in his hands. He said that he went to open his basement door and found a grill cover in the door well, he had no idea who it belonged to so he texted me 1st. The cover blew off of my grill on the back deck, went up over the house, across the street and around the backside of his house and got sucked into his basement door well! Crazy stuff.

 

Must’ve been bad if the grill cover was trying to get into the basement

 

I'd get into soooo much trouble if I take the bait.....

 

Good evening everybody, hope it’s been a good Monday for you.

The past 3 weeks have been a busy blur for me and the wife. We help babysit the grandkids along with the MiL. MIL has been on vacation so it’s just been me and the wife covering the work days. With my son and daughter in law both working 12 hour shifts on the same rotation it’s been a fun time but a lot of work for us. We’re looking forward to getting back on the “normal” routine.

 

I did learn to grab a nap with them lol
