$1500 later :bananadead: they are gonna do a comprehensive blood test that has to get sent out to a special lab to try and narrow down where this issue is coming from. Usual meds as well a Rx food but hopefully the extensive blood panel will tell us something.

    Oh not that.

Main purpose there would be to go to a front rack and a unit wheel bearing.

But I don't have machine access to shorten the rack as needed.

I do have all the bits to make control arms easily, and if the LBJ can be flipped that's a massive win in my book.

Nissan failed missouri inspection today - pass sides tie rods worn out, and needs new brake pads. Fair enough, rear pads and tie rods are 175k miles old

Still, I see way way way worse things out there every day...

For sure, I live on the edge of a rough part of town, and tehre's all kinds of wacky shit driving around. This shop isn't that far away, so I'm sure they see all of it.

I do wonder though- they complimented the cleanliness of it, the fact that it is well maintained and has no oil leaks. Then they tried to get me to authorize $1200 worth of work for inner/outer passenger tie rods, and pads on all four corners. Maybe they thought I like to spend money - on a 17 year old nissan? :burp:

Found both side mirrors in my ditch yesterday - pretty sure he cartwheeled it. I should have clapped.

I don't think so but can't really say for sure, the vet seems to be leaning toward it possibly being a metabolic or hormonal issue that would probably mean he will need to be on a special diet but won't know until the blood work comes in
