Like like like!!! Hope it has a 455/4speed 455!!!

My old ex but beloved 71 with factory 455, m21, 4:11 posi. Ear drum killer. The late 70's were a great time to be a kid buying HP. In 1981 this was $1500 @ 79k on the odometer. Had to sell this beast for a commutor car a few years later after a motor build, new paint. Notice the liscence plate.

Stupid kid story # 7354

This reminds me of carlot test drive in a 68 442 @ age 18.

Tooling down the street. Large parked truck blocks vision. The inevitable blinded car pulls out of a driveway. Crunch. Cops,, upset carlot owner. Yadda yadda.
End result was a friend got a 442 for $1500 plus $500 front end

 

Back in the 80's l worked at a pizza place, one of the drivers looked down for the address and launched his EXP over the curb and landed on a big Lincoln. It had a for sale sign in the window so he went and knocked on the door and told the people he just bought their car.

 

'65 Dart as a daily in the early 90s.

 

I’m back. My best friends newest restoration. A 1974 K5 Blazer. Bought it from the original owner with $71K. I saw it prior it this resto and most would consider it a graveyard vehicle.

 

And this his other latest restoration. Another ‘67 SS427 build. He builds a lot of those. This one he went a bit custom with. Saddle Naugahyde leather interior. Almost done.

 

I hope those rims are temporary...

 

What do you think? I like factory myself but it’s obviously part of the maroon tan theme.

 

my good friend has a shop wall covered in SUN parts, his grandfather was a repair/ dealer for them super cool seeing old things like that still alive!

 

as stated in a previous post I have a father with some cool hobbies and collectables! lol very lucky to get to enjoy it
